ASSASSIN'S CREED | COMIC CON ACTIVATION
Concepted and executed a full experiential takeover to launch Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag at San Diego Comic-Con.
We sailed a 150-year-old Windjammer ship into the harbor, transforming it into the heroic Jackdaw from the game. By day, the ship served as a living pirate museum and game demo center; by night, it hosted a VIP pirate party with cannon fire, Todd McFarlane signings, and celebrity guests.
We also staged a live-action parkour journey through the Gaslamp District, starring Devinsupertramp as Edward Kenway, culminating at the ship on the night of the launch.
The event became the talk of Comic-Con and earned top industry honors — including multiple Gold Game Marketing Awards.
More than an activation, it was a living, breathing manifestation of Assassin’s Creed’s pirate mythology.
